My main card is a Tangerine credit card which has no annual fee and for 3 items I get 2% cash back monthly. For all other purchases I use my West Jet RBC card as the $119.00 cost is re-cooped by using the card and the savings for free bags for up to 8 people is valuable to me. Also the lower cost companion fares are also a value.

You're confused Daniel, a CREDIT card is linked to a line of credit, you spend the bank's money. This is a prepaid card, it's linked to its own account, just like the KOHO prepaid visa card, you spend your own money.... not the same at all. Prepaid cards are in the debit card family, you spend your own money, it's just visa or mastercard branded which makes it usable worldwide as a regular Visa or mastercard branded card (those without the interac logo on the front).

5% cashback? Ive never seen of heard of this, it's 1% unless you get your paycheque deposited, it'll go up to 3%

CIBC Dividend Platinum card 3% on gas and groceries 2% on recurring bill payments dinning and transportation 1% everything else

I applied for this card for the Tungsten card. And now I dont know why I applied for it. Im not travelling anytime soon, so the FX fee isn't an issue.
