Hahah ik its such a long shot that Ashton or Mila ever come back-but we did get to see an interaction between Jay and Kelso, I’d LOVE to see how Jackie interacts with Jay: (1) how she talks to him, (2) what she thinks of Leia, (3) what she thinks of his friends, etc.

I think since Donna’s love life is no longer a major plot line they’ll see no issue in keeping them Together. Then if Laura Prepon wants to go do something else they have an excuse for why the character is missing

Okay, so I think a lot of us felt that for the show to work long term that Leia would have to somehow move to Point Place. So, now Eric is going off to write a Star Wars book. Leia is going to live in Point Place, and Donna - at least to start with- will go back and forth between them.

So, I'm wondering if Laura Prepon is willing to return to the show full time but Topher Grace is not. So, at the same time as having Leia move full time to Point Place they're also setting up a Donna and Eric divorce.

What’s wild to me is I remember how public he was with those relationships and I kept wondering if rules had changed because why was no one giving a shit. Same when Hilary Duff was with Joel Madden, like we knew she was under age cuz she had just done Lizzie McGuire etc

even if you're not a main character, if you have a contract you gotta prioritize shooting for that project. filming isn't the same as a part-time job if you're in a supporting role. call sheets get released every day because shooting is unpredictable, so based on that, yeah, makes sense he wouldn't be able to commit.

I doubt it, if anything it’s just to explain why Eric won’t show up as much as Donna will going forward. Maybe Topher Grace isn’t available or doesn’t want a supporting role like Donna seems to have now

I just saw him in a trailer for a movie coming out in October that stars Mark Wahlberg and was directed by Mel Gibson. It looks like he has a pretty significant role in it.

I really hope someone picks up That 90s Show. I was hoping that when they got to 1999 we'd get an episode about the kids going to see Episode I in theaters just like That 70s Show had an episode showing the group watching the original Star Wars movie in theaters.

From my understanding, Topher was busy shooting another thing and it conflicted. That happens.

But writing a book can take a pretty hot minute, so Eric could be written off for a good amount of time while giving Donna an excuse to not be omnipresent, so I doubt they'll go divorce.

For them to set this up there would first have to be another season confirmed AND Topher Grace would ideally have to come back.

Right here, he is currently filming a movie, but it's also in LA, I doubt he's a main character in the film so I'm guessing he doesn't want to be part of the show and is citing scheduling conflicts

Cause of Danny I’m not at all bothered & Laurie with how kitty ignores everything Donna says as the mom/ pesters/manipulates Eric to tell her things ( btw heavily implied he wanted to move to Chicago more his idea and has told kitty that)… look Laurie was evil had her flaws but i could see why she cut off her parents in the end ( i did like when kitty said i yelled a lot at my daughter when she was a teenager but i wished i didn’t kids don’t just steal trucks or in my daughters case rob a Kmart with our pastor for no reason ( the red face palm)… i understand it’s part of kitty’s humor however as someone with a toxic manipulative narc of a grandma kitty sort of fits it

Yeah they’re not going to divorce/ the whole skywalker ranch is very believable… I do hope the kids go to California to be extras for phantom of menace… the boys try to get close to Natalie Portman ( for various reasons) and leia inner Jedi comes out… Gwen meets frank oz ( has no idea he’s voice of yoda… shows a pic to Eric from the disposable camera where he is enraged cause he’s barred from meeting him) Betsy and Sherri try to find ewan mcgregor & kitty/nikki are left to make sure nothing bad happens ( except it backfires cause kitty is crushing on Liam neeson and red/donna have to bail her out of Disney jail ( that’s a separate side story etc )… finally bob weirdly winds up on a date with newly single Mia pernilla aka pernilla august & Kelso calls Jay/betsy to remember to take a lightsaber from set so he can relive his childhood fantasy of pretending the gopher in the yard are the clones or whatever cause caddyshack version didn’t work

i’d bet you anything he will never be back. his wife was r-worded by a producer, so to work with people who support those kinds of people he’d have to be morally bankrupt which we all know he isn’t
