Switching to full body splits with TWO different movements for each one changed my results and mentality of actually wanting to go the gym

And then if ya hate hitting a muscle group ya now have to do it every workout 😂. Pros and cons to everything

honestly whatever gets you motivated to be consistant, i personally love my push/pull/leg+core/rest. i tried lots of other workout "splits" and i always found it was hard to know when to hit another body part, but with my 4 day push/pull split my muscles are ALWAYS ready for another intense workout. everyone thinks their way is the best, but do what works best for you guys🤘🏻

I've gained 10 pounds of muscle in just over 8 weeks doing 20-30 minute full body workouts 2x per week.
Flat bench incline bench squats pull ups dips. Sometimes dead lifts. Off days abs and biceps 2x/week.

Nature has no sets and reps. I just exercise until I feel like I've caught my prey.

Sometimes I just skip legs and just hit new prs on bench ever time I come to the gym

Full body is fun because I get to do 💯 intensity and get to have a day off the next day, so I go heavy, take a day off, go heavy, take a day off etc and you never get burnt out. You look forward to working out and you look forward to resting and relaxing

This has helped me ALOT since I work 60hrs a week, the training sessions are really long but you definitely feel satisfied

its not about looking forward to it, you find what works best for you and stick to it no matter how much u hate it . something called discipline

i started training two weeks ago, and ive been doing push, pull, legs (6x a week). I feel burned out. But rather than quiting, i'm going to switch to full body 3 times a week. Really looking forward to it!

I don't accept that one method is any better than another - what counts is consistency, and what your optimal workout routine should be ought to be driven by your goals.
I see this short - and since I don't know the fellow, I'm unclear if this is for fitness, or body building or some other focus.
Just be sure to vary your workouts every 4-6 weeks and shock the body a bit to drive better adaptation.

Ill just stick to compound movements. The basic... bench press, pull up, and squats!!! Thats all u really need, for the average guy anyway

I agree somewhat with what another commenter said. In life and nature there IS NO SET muscle group workout day !!!! An healthy active daily manual labour and recreational lifestyle is a WHOLE BODY WORKOUT !!! If your not trying to pile on the muscle mass and you just want a fit body with a six pack you do not need to do groups .
