I have an Engwe ebike, it was shipped to me with a couple of SAFETY problems, so just beware, there is no customer support, and if you purchase through Amazon, they were no help either.
At the end of the day, now I wish I still had my LECTRIC, ebike!
PS, this is an honest review, nobody sends me Free stuff...

I just got the Engwe delivered today and the fenders are no longer plastic. The bike now comes with very solid, beautiful metal fenders 👍

Recieved my bikes damaged in mail. Boxes looked like hell. Charger was damaged on the black one. Tryed to work with engwe and only willing to give 20 for damage to fenders, wheels, and derailer cages. Not willing to give a good discount and offered return but 25% stocking fee. Tryed to dispute on card and failed. Please don't buy from this company.

Looks like they upgraded the T42 because it now comes with a 750W motor, rear fender, brake light and a rack.

just ordered the "battery pack" bundle which comes with an extra 12.8ah battery, got it in slategray which is $50 less than the other color options. $1099.99 total out the door tax free. cant wait! was looking into lectric xp and got really close to buying it, but once i found the engwe and saw the bundle savings, i just couldn't pass on the deal. im not looking to race anyone, just want a cruiser for the park and can also take me through some light trails if needed.

I've heard that the Engwe EP-2 Pro performs more like a 500W e-bike with a 750W peak than one with a 750W base motor output. Has that been your experience?

I've had mine for about a year now, and I can say that I am very pleased with Engwe overall. I did however change a few things straight away. I replaced the breaks with new hydraulic disk brakes (calipers), and changed the flywheel to a 11 tooth to better match the pedaling and speed. (With the original you have to pedal quite a lot when going fast, with an 11 tooth flywheel you better exchange between pedaling and riding electric.) This year I am going to buy a new set of tires for it, the more retro looking slicks and an extra battery to carry for extra mileage.

But it's worth you money to get this bike, even though support is pretty non-existent.

(Also, the reason why they don't put cables inside the frame is the cost. It's much more expensive to put all cabling inside the frame, , and it makes it more difficult to repair and replace. But, I do agree that it can be done better. Maybe use a closed cable collector of sort.)

lectric 2.0 is $300 cheaper than both of these models, is 3 MPH less because of the weight but with better accessories, customer service, build. Compare the frames, that is why the gforce goes a little faster, it has much less weight because there is less to it. I have tried all of them in person.
