The Memorial Cup is here in Michigan, and I got a chance to see it early this afternoon. My daughter and I got a picture with it, so that was cool.

I have seen a Canadian team make the Cup final 5 times in my life (I wasn’t born until 2 years after the Canucks 1994 Cup run and 3 years after the Habs cup win in 1993). I have never seen one win. I’m not getting my hopes up on the Oilers. I’m just enjoying the ride.

I know is not that important but the everblades from the ECHL won game 1 8-1 a record on the finals and they might win 3 straight Kelly cups and be the first team to do so

Pretty wild how both series have gone the same way. Lower seed team wins game 1 on the road, higher seed wins the next two games, then the lower seed wins the next two games, setting up potential deciding game back on home ice for game 6.

Hanging onto Bertuzzi and Domi is a symptom of what's wrong with the Leafs.

I was hoping the Bruins would take a shot at Bertuzzi and put him with Pastrenak. Problem is I don't think Sweeney thinks he is worth 5M+ which the Mapleleafs gave him last year and may do it again this year.

Leafs fan here. I would personally be ecstatic to keep bertuzzi and domi but I have no clue how we afford it. Still, maybe the only leaf fan alive still excited to see what my team does next year!

I would absolutely love to see the Maple Leafs be able to sign both Bertuzzi and Domi. Although they didn't seem to do much for the first half of the season, they played quite well in the second half - adding some good scoring depth and much-needed toughness to the lineup.
