Hockey players are easily contacting and redirecting pucks that are a third of the width of a baseball going 80-100mph at distances of about 50 feet or less.

Of the athletes out there, I think they often can do well - or already have done well - in baseball. Known a ton of hockey/baseball combo players, including my high-school hockey coach who was a high Junior Canadian prospect and then jumped into professional baseball and played for the Royals.
