My father gave me his Winchester 94 that he purchased while in the Air Force in 1964, stationed in England. Bought from the PX for like $50 bucks.

I had the Canadian Centennial version of this with the octagonal bull barrel, best shooting gun I ever owned. Wish I could find another one that didn't cost a small fortune.

The beauty of a lever action is your can leave it in your shoulder when running it.

To quote the late, great Rick May (aka, the TF2 Soldier):

"This is what God would use to shoot somebody."

I also had one of those ca. 1967 short rifle versions with the 20 inch octal heavy barrel. Ugly receiver and gold bits I replaced. It was the most accurate by far of any I tried.

Just put my dad's Model 94 in the shop for a tune up. It's from the late 60's.

My only ask is that you stop throwing the ammo. It's more satisfying if you let them spill out on the table next to the weapon. That sounds is perfection 👌

I have my grandfather's that was made in 1950. Beautiful carbine for the Adirondacks.
