At Auscript I was promoted to Infrastructure DevOps Manager. Why Infrastructure DevOps? Doesn’t that contradict the whole idea of DevOps? Well, what if Devs and Ops are not ready to start working together? That doesn’t mean you can’t embrace DevOps in a traditional infrastructure team. In this talk I will discuss how I went about changing the culture and work styles of an Infrastructure team to create an Infrastructure team that is embracing DevOps and making them ready to be an org-wide DevOps team when the time is right.
