Funnily enough, before I started watching Philosophy Tube but it was popping up in my recommended, I genuinely did think there were two presenters

The clean shaved guy, the guy who has Tony Stark mustache, and the lady.

Only the OGs know that the original Philosphy Tube presenter was a casualty of the gender wars and got transed by a mob of software programmers while defending a woman’s bathroom. It was brutal and sudden. They had to bring in a new presenter halfway through a video!

When I started watching, I watched backwards and just avoided the ones without Abigail. I wasn't sure I wanted to watch the other presenter. I watched a few episodes which i liked, so I watched a few more. It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize she was in disguise during the first half of the show 😅😅

While I absolutely love this bit, I also want to point out the value in your public transition. In 500 years time when people are reviewing your work the same way we look back at old philosophers, it will be impossible to deny the existence of trans people. There is no "roommates" explanation to hide behind, future academics will have no choice but to learn about what it means to be trans in the millennium.

I think it was pretty obvious that the old presenter was a bit jealous of Abigail, always trying to reach the same level of fabulous dressing. He did pretty well and all, but he just doesn't hold a candle to Abigail. RIP old presenter, thanks for paving the way for an even better PhilisophyTube!
