Hello from Cuba, Kevin! These are really difficult words to pronounce for us, Spanish speaking people. Their pronunciations are very similar for us to pronoun and to understand the difference when they are pronounced by a native speaker of English. Thank you, Kevin for your explanations, they are always very good and interesting. Give regards to Liza.

Hi Kevin.
I enjoy a lot listening to your classes. One of the reason is because you teaches in detail the pronounciation of the words that are spelled and pronounced differently, but they sound so similar for non native speakers. They're a nightmare for us when native speakers speak fast. They sound the same to us unless you had been living in the US. for a while and had the willingness to pay attention and learn the differences in pronounciation among them. Still difficult if you don't practice regularly.

Hey guys! Can anyone who's native break something down for me here? I recently watched Zootopia and there was this scene:

Bogo: Two days to find the otter or you quit. That was the deal. Badge!
Juddy: But sir we...
Bogo: Badge!
Nick: Uh... no!
Bogo: What did you say fox.
Nick: Sorry. What I said was "No". She will not be giving you that badge.

The last line grabbed my attention here. Why is it "will not be giving you" instead of "she won't give you" or "she's not gonna give you"? Why's the action continuous when it's actually short?
