Too bad you guys don't have too many actual country roads like we do here in Europe or like where I live up north of Sweden. I have the W112 E500 5 liter V8 4 Matic Stage 1 upgraded and pretty much no speed cameras or cops for weeks at times here on the country side. There's very slim risks down to zero even at forestal roads or abandoned airstrips nearby where I live where I when conditions are "safe'ish" stretch out for miles. Gotta' love that era of older Mercedes how it used to be.

I almost bought one last week. Only difference was the one I almost bought was white. This is a collecton dream car of mine but I live in Canada and with the snow and salt, I would never drive this in the winter. I would maybe buy as a second car as a toy but the idea of it being 20 yrs old and Mercedes means I may have to pay an arm and a leg to get anything repaired. It's like and 85 yrs old with no medicare 😂

The e55 actually has 493 horsepower - same as the S55 Cl55 and Sl55. Mercedes just declared that the E55 and CLS55 have less horsepower to promote the sale of the more expensive models
