The launch window for XDefiant was finally confirmed as well as the dates for the Open Beta (June 21-23) and a bunch of the launch and post launch content we can expect to see with the game! What are your current thoughts on XDefiant?

CoD has needed good competition for so long. They’ve grown way to comfortable putting the bare minimum effort to pump out yearly titles. I’m exciting to binge this game and interested to see how this impacts the next next CoD

A probably late August launch sounds pretty solid. Would mean Year 1 content starts in early October, which is also solid.

Safe bet on the new CoD would be early November, with Season 1 starting in December. So hopefully this gives Xdefiant enough time to get the momentum and players necessary to make sure it survives. CoD could really use some competent MP competition.

I will definitely be playing this beta. I would love a class recommendation video the day the beta becomes available. Obviously you won’t have time to run through everything just a first impressions class set up would be great.

I think xdefiant could actually be a cod killer. I played the beta constantly when it was available and it just felt so much better and was way more enjoyable

Holy shit I havent heard much from Xdefiant outside the praise its been receiving. Genuinely excited to finally get a chance to play it once the open beta goes live! Just from the gameplay alone it looks like fun, cannot wait.

Congrats on getting married, Ace! I think with all the negativity surrounding MW2 and Warzone 2, XDefiant picked the perfect time to launch. People have been begging for a return to traditional CoD and XDefiant definitely scratches that itch so I'm sure a bunch of players will be jumping ship and switching over to XDefiant

Really like how they're treating content drops for seasonal content. Every month sounds great and in theory should eliminate content droughts. Constituency is key!
