The C8 Z06 has become my attainable dream car, but since the ZR1 was revealed it just makes me feel some type of way 😂 I was expecting a supercharged Z06 basically, with 850 horsepower. But this is just bananas, and its overkill, and its insane, and I want one, but I won't ever be able to get one and that sucks.

From what has been said, that engine is fully Z06 with the exception of pistons, pins and rods, so it should be easy to build a Z06 to this... Who will be first to this? Drop the rpm limiter to 8 and roll on! I will put my Z06 up for experimentation with this. Tranny is similar, just lighter gears and stronger shaft...

Don't know how you feel but the ZR-1 is incredible. If you noticed on another video the main guy from Chevy stated, paraphrase "we don't know the future of the gasoline engine so we wanted to set the benchmark high". Really spectacular piece of work. However, if gasoline cars go the way of the dodo and one car has to be king I think a guy would be hard pressed to not pick the Ford GT. It's pretty much on a whole different level.
