It’s Also because venom was seen like a loser but he destroyed carnage and riot because off luck he got defeated by riot but defeat him because off the rocket while that processie created the codex and he called him traitor because riot knew venom was far weaker than a xenophage because venom was still weak but venom didn’t posses the energy to do that and then carnage tried killing him for the codex to die because venom could not even in years. Defeat a xenophage but when he defeated carnage and the symbiotes knew about it they knew he didn’t need abilities because he not only defeated carnage but also riot but when they saw him he was still not strong enough but then he sacrificed himself so the xenophage would die
