I searched and watched about 10 videos about “how to quickly test car fuses” and by far this is the best video as it’s simple, easy to follow, and unless an expert says otherwise it’s a Great Way to Test Fuses!

Oh ok I know where I went and wrong and understand now, you need to check both sides of the fuse 😂, I went back in the car and found the bad ones, I was only testing one side before, it makes sense now. Thanks for showing howa its done bro.

It's worth noting that some circuits may be a fused ground. You would simply connect your test light to a 12v source instead of ground, and probe the fuse the same way. For the cabin fuses being tested here, you would find your 12v source at the ignition (typically red, orange or white heavier gauge wire) feed wire connected to this specific fuse block. If that isn't easily accessible, remove another fuse and probe the powered side of that circuit for your 12v source. Last resort is hooking it up to the positive battery terminal if you can reach it. If you aren't sure which one is the ignition feed at the fuse block, you can find it the same way as shown in this video. Connect to a ground and probe the heavier wires until you get 12v with key on.

You can also test fuses with a logic probe or a multimeter. Multimeters are great for fuses under the hood since they are more exposed. Since it has 2 probes, you can test both sides of the fuse at the same time while getting a beep indicating the fuse is good and voltage reading. It's harder to use inside the vehicle due to limited space.

The light probe shows what is power (red light) and what is ground (green light). If it doesn't light up it's a bad fuse also if each side lights up a different color. I guess it's all about preference and situation.

Finally a video that show where to clip the alligator. It’s red so it confusing like we should put it to the positive or something. Why is it red?
