Graham is pursuing a master's degree in urban and regional planning and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2023. He has a part time job as a city planning assistant at the city hall offices in Spokane. I'm in Spokane Washington and for most of my life I've made less than 40k. Most years much less... My total monthly outflow is about $1000 a month. Medical insurance, gas and food make up the majority of my expenditures. My number is so low because I'm a tightwad and saved my money hard. What money that I have spent has been to set myself up for low monthly expenses. I retired in late 2019 at 44 years old. My retirement savings are minimal and in spite of the market crashing and suffering massive losses I'm still able to stay retired because I make sacrifices that few do. Hopefully my retirement savings will get back to a comfortable level in the next few years.
