The Haunted Past of Mexico’s Island of the Dolls

Mexico’s Isla de las Muñecas or Island of the Dolls is straight out of a horror movie. There are no concrete buildings, no electricity or running water. Just wooden structures and dolls. Legend has it, this small island just south of Mexico City is the site of the tragic drowning of a little girl. A local man, Don Julián Santana Berrera, unsuccessfully tried to save her. My Grandfather knew Don Julian in Mexico City, This was back in the '90s my grandfather asked him a personal question why did you continue collecting the dolls ? Then Don Julian said it's my fault I couldn't save her she won't leave me alone she wants more... after the conversation between my grandfather and Don Julian he said the look on his face he was so guilty and haunted then a couple years later he drown the same spot where the girl was found now he's ghost too so yeah the island of the doll is Paranormal weird things happens in the Island.

I almost forgot if you go to the island of the dolls stay around at night first you must give the ghost girl a doll as a gift she will be appreciated and welcome you as a guest but if you don't something terrible will happen if you got the balls.

As a doll lover, restoring is better because they were almost cute back then, but sadly, they were treated as horrible decorations superstitiously.

My family live in Mexico city so yes this is no stranger to locals and the island is very active at night so alot of paranormal investigators go to the island to check it out and they leave with evidence.
