The writing was abysmal, but you get some jewels, like how Dick is always referred to as "Dick Grayson, age 12, " and like how Dick told Batman that his car name was lame, and Bats just pouts like a child and says "shut up."

This comic lands in the so bad it’s good category for me. So much ridiculous stuff happens that it’s hard for me to take it seriously even as a bad comic. I don’t know if that was frank Miller’s intention. I don’t know if this was done ironically or not but considering his sequels to the dark knight returns, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was serious.

I definitely prefer the older comic where Robin uses the yellow of his cape to block the ring and then just kinda beats him up with one hand. Like, "crush your windpipe" Robin feels wrong, but a fully grown man getting beaten up by a tween/young teen with one hand is just kinda funny to me.
