There's so much fauna in the nearest waters to me. I lived for a long time near the ocean but I'm about 15 miles inland now. I'd like to get out there in some kind of a cabin cruiser, not to fish but just to gad about, maybe visit Catalina, which I see every day from my balcony....

Stereolepis gigas should be more correctly called the giant wreckfish or spotted jewfish as it is not a seabass but is instead a wreckfish, but like true seabasses, freshwater sunfish, and icefish, they are part of the order Serraniformes (Bass-Like Fish).
