It's the 6 year anniversary of the release of Splatoon 2 on the Nintendo Switch, and as always it's time to celebrate this by going back and playing one of my favorite games! Surely the best way to do this is to play online x rank clam blitz... right?

splatoon 2 is still such a good game. i got it in june 2020, i had watched it for awhile and finally playing it was so much fun. it’s genuinely solidified my love for the series

I can't believe Splatoon 2 queues have already reached Splatoon 1 levels of nobody being in them. Splatoon 1's servers have been down for a hot minute, but the last time I was able to play it, it took me half an hour just to get into one match.

6 years already!?! Ah god the memories is insane, my first splatoon game ever. I remember playing this after school during the pandemic and getting level 100 and S rank, being excited to get the golden tooth pick, meeting Vian in a turfwar and etc. It’s crazy how much this game aged but I gotta say it will never get old.

the reason it was so hard to find a game is because you are searching for x rank... not alot of people are x rank in splatoon 2 and still active. its easy to find a game in lower ranks of turf war

The regular turf lobbies in Splat 2 are still decently populated! I still have lots of fun goin back to 2 even after the release of 3.

I used to play Splatoon 2 24/7 but now that I have Splatoon 3, I just keep the game for nostalgia :)

I heard that the hub world from Splatoon 2 is gonna return in Splatoon 3 as DLC reward, let's hope they're also gonna bring Squid Jump back too!

I’m still playing Splatoon 2 every now and then. I’ll play some Splatoon 3 first until I’ve done my daily things (shop checking, get at least one catalog point by getting the daily win, buying one reduced capsule). Then I’ll go back to Splatoon 2 to check the stores, finish Octo Expansion with every weapon, play Turf War as an octoling to finish both inking missions, and play Salmon Run to get the last 5 outfits I don’t have yet.

Splatoon 2 was my first Splatoon game and it introduced me to your videos. While I feel Splatoon 3 was a major improvement, I still hold 2 close to my heart as like I said before, it got me into this awesome franchise

I remember staying up late and playing Splatoon 2 on the TV until my eyes burned so bad from the only light source being flashy neon colors. I will always have a place for Splatoon 2 in my heart. ❤❤❤
