President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. swore in Gen. Andres Centino as the new Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines at the Malacañang Palace on Friday, January 6. Centino replaced Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro in the said post.

Wrong. Centino was not a Medal of Valor awardee. Bacarro was.

Sana bago nagretiro si Gen. Bacarro ay nakamit niya ang 4 star rank. Sana 4 star general siya.

Gen Centino was floating in his position nung inaapooint ni PBBM si LtGen Bacarro as CSAFP. Active in service as 4star general si Gen Centino maybe that’s why hindi ma confirm ng CA ang 4star rank ni LtGen Bacarro. (in my perspective) kaya sinauli ang titulo as CSAFP ni LtGen Bacarro to Gen Centino. Don’t know what’s the main reason behind this events. But still grateful for LtGen bacarro na knyang dating finile for retirement last October 2022 ay matutupad na.
