For question 1 (Systems Of two equations) :

If:

Total amount of apples = x
Total amount of oranges = y

then,

(1) 2 x + 3 y = 60

(2) x + y = 25

(3) From (2): x = 25 - y

Subst. (3) in (1):

2 (25 - y) + 3 y = 60
50 - 2 y + 3 y = 60
-2 y + 3 y = 60 - 50
y = 10.

Answer: Anna got 10 oranges.

I have always considered myself of average intelligence and someone who catches on quickly, but some of these math word problems confuse me. It has me feeling discouraged and not confident at all. I have to take the test tomorrow for this job and I'm so nervous and not optimistic at all. I've taken practice tests and can only average about 11-12 questions. I guess what I should do is skip and go on to the next. Answer all the easy ones, and go back to the ones I have trouble with. :(

Hi, Thanks in advance! I'm contacting you regarding the WONDERLIC PRACTICE TEST. I'm a student at the university of the people, I've been asked by the university of the people to provide a graduation document. Since I'm a refugee I couldn't continue my studies in high school. In the meantime, I have an alternative option, if I'm unable to provide the documents required to prove my high school completion, I can take the Ability to Benefit (ATB) test aka the Wonderlic exam. I'm also informed that this test will be very difficult, and I'm required to earn a passing score of at least 200 on the Verbal Skills section of the test, and at least 210 on the Quantitative Skills section of the test, to become a degree-seeking student. So the questions are, will the Rapid Wonderlic Mastery Course help me? and does it has a Verbal Skills section? and 84% passing rate.
Thanks & Best Regards!

Hi, thank you for the instruction. I am wondering if the answer for the last question is correct! I suppose the right answer would be 5%. Am I right?

For #3, you chose A because it does match? 😂 That’s how you explain it to people looking to understand? I mean, I Can totally see the logic behind it after a bit of thinking but I’m sure many people might have more trouble which is why they searched the video to begin with. It’s like saying, I chose A because that’s the answer. Lol this was just so funny to me sorry, couldn’t help it.

Hey man thanks for the info. I got the email yesterday to do the wonderlic test. Do you recommend skipping to the easier questions? And do I need to buy a webcam to do the test? I’m assuming they require to watch you during the test?

Any idea what corrections considered as a good mark or passing mark on the test?
