As a PS Portal owner I would suggest everyone connects their Ps5 to an Ethernet cable rather than WiFi. And of course your Ps Portal to any WiFi with good speed, I haven’t had an issue an even when I’m not home. But I would like to try this travel router like in hotels, while in the car to see how good the connection is. Awesome Video brother 🙏🏼

As someone who travels frequently for work, a travel router is a must have in general. I personally prefer to have my vpn set up on it then have devices connect through the router instead of straight to hotel or Airbnb WiFi.

Also here a tip unplug the HDMI from the TV that your PS5 is Connected to for better play

I have an iPhone 15 pro max on the latest update and my phone provider is EE in the UK and I did this and it worked EE would not let me use my portable when using hotspot this was a perfect fix

Question: Isn't saying this device makes your Hotspot signal stronger similar to saying a new router will give your internet speeds a boost over what the ISP offers you....right?? For example, if u have verizon home internet and they say the max speed you will get is 500 mbps, nothing your going to buy will improve that max speed...correct?

Hey tech mark quick question, so I do security work overnight and I literally sit in my car for 8+ hours. I did buy a PlayStation portal and It does work good in my home. I do have great/strong WiFi. I did connect to my ps5 using the portal at work with my hotspot on my phone. It did work for about an hour and then I used up all my high speed data and it went to 5glte. However it disconnects after 10-20 second because of bad connection. So I don’t know what to do because I know for a fact it worked but it doesn’t anymore! All I play is marvel rivals too. I tried connecting to the Costco free internet (I work outside it) and I just can’t seem to play.

I dont remember not being able to not connect to my mobile hotspot day 1 of when i got my ps portal. Verizon user. What carriers restricted this?
