I can guarantee you they are not using “warp drives”. It’s like a guy from the 1500’s trying to explain what a computer is. They are most likely traveling outside of the 3d space and then traveling back in at a different point, or something beyond that. they’re not going to use 1950’s sci-fi movie understanding.

Thanks for the video, and thank you for mentioning when it was speculation and when it wasn't.
Like some people have mentioned before, yes it is bold of us to assume that an advanced civilization habiting more than one stellar system would use a communication system within our current understanding. But that shouldn't stop us from trying to imagine/guess. Many efforts are being made nowadays to figure out methods for interstellar travel and communication, within our *current* laws of physics.
It brings me grate joy to imagine the possibility of humans becoming that advanced, but I don't think we can do such things while we don't figure out how to put the entire human intellect (7 billion) in good use.
On a more dark note, it is still entirely possible that the universe doesn't allow for such a thing. The universe mustn't fulfill our desires.
