4:13 “I described in painful detail” that is awesome 🎉

This lecture was fascinating and inspirational.
Here's where I wandered. You mentioned two white dwarfs orbiting a pulsar. The pulsar, a neutron star is fundamentally made with neutrons. Let's say a white dwarf's orbit decayed into the pulsar. This now has extra mass, or has gained energy. This energy might be enough for further gravitational contraction and the neutrons now convert into one up quark, one down quark and a strange quark, or maybe one up quark and two strange quarks...thereby making strange quark neutrons at the core and gradually converting the other neutrons of the neutron star over time.
Prior to contraction into a black hole even.
I am not sure about the mathematical singularity of a black hole, just matter too dense for light to escape...personally speaking.
This lecture was jammed full of information and a wonderful muse.
Thank you.

Great video, as always!
A point I still struggle with: Sometimes geodesics are defined as the path light follows in SPCT, not massive objects. They are very different..
Can you explain the difference and clear out the confusion?
Thanks!
