How to Uninstall Windows Defender Permanently in Windows 10 - [2020]

How to Uninstall / Disable Windows Defender in Windows 10. Most of the people install purchased Antivirus and they wants to uninstall or disable Windows defender / Windows Security Permanently in Windows 10.

We have 3 methods to disable windows defender in Windows 10 Professional or home or Enterprise Edition.

First Method shown in this video will disable windows defender temporary to install some of the softwares.( I know which softwares needs Windows defender to turn off).. ha ha ha ha.

Many of the softwares ask you to uninstall or disable windows defender, but unistallation of WIndows Defender is not possible so we can turn off windows defender antivirus permenantly.

Turn off windows defender in windows 10 is shown in 2nd and 3rd method and you would be able to folllow the steps mention in the video and disable windows defender.

2nd method would not work on Windows 10 Home Edition. You can use 3rd method to disable windows defender for Windows 10 home Edition.

Yes, It is possible to delete Windows defender's main ".exe" file by some trick.
And If main ".exe" file is gone, Windows Defender won't be able to start.

After many tutorials and going through all the steps over and over again, I discovered that the simplest way to get rid of this process is by removing it from the root, simply delete the folder with any anti-lock software. If it comes back after an update, checkmate it again, otherwise it will always be maddeningly present in your task manager in one way or another.

Mine doesn't have windows defender antivirus, only windows defender smartscreen

I am on W11. Security Health Service still runs. It is under Security Service in the Services section. However, it will not let me disable. Also, Smartscreen is still a problem that shows up randomly.

Why can't you delete it? I destroyed it with psexec system account.
