As a former hotel worker. You won’t get charged if you smoke in the room and just clean up after. Simple.

I work front desk at a hotel, please note if you cover the smoke alarm that is called tampering, you will be charged a fee, go outside ok it takes house keeping several hours to get smoking smells out of a room and you will get charged trust me

Pro tip- i usually just leave no evidence and tip the housekeeper along with a nice thank you note i would rather pay $20 than $200

Yeah as a former housekeeper, as soon as we smell burnt popcorn were charging you for a deep clean, we smoke too. 😂

Hi! Hotel worker of 7 years here. This does not work. 😂 Speaking from experience, What it **will** do (if the fire alarm is good) is set the actual fire alarm that is in the hallway off and cause the hotel staff to have to evacuate the entire building and call 911.. And if the fire alarm is new enough, it will tell us where in the hotel it came from. Firefighters will then ask you why you (very clearly) decided to intentionally chat your popcorn and not a soul is going to believe you when you say "I like my popcorn burnt" when "burnt" is when the popcorn is now fucking ASHES. Just don't do this shit. 😂

As somebody who’s worked front desk for like 4 years, just don’t bother. We still will know you smoked regardless of what dumbass trick you think you know. And you still gonna get hit with a $250 charge. 💀

You forget to add run cold water for 4 minutes as cold as cold as it'll get.... then hit hot as hot can get, the fog then is 2 x thicker because the cold tub and tile will have a reaction and it makes the fog insane .... pluse the hot box is dope

That burnt popcorn smell is a key component of the way both Fent and Crack smell after someone smokes some. That’s WAY worse 🤣

Fun fact, as a Front Desk Agent, we will charge you a cleaning fee for strong smells if Housekeeping complains. Also, no matter how much you try? We can smell it.

Hey! Hotel worker here. If you smoke in the bathroom, it can go into the ventilation and circulate into other rooms. Not only that, but when you take that bag off of the smoke alarm, you’re gonna set it off with that burned popcorn. Please just smoke outside.
