Lily, when I first found your videos like a year ago I was struggling with really bad Anxiety and Depression, I didn't go to school, I couldn't leave my house and I lost so many friends, I was stuck. Now a year on I'm a different person, I managed to get back into school and get my GCSE's done, I then went to prom (which would of been a no no a year ago) I then got into college to do what I've always loved which is performing and I'm now starring a show in October. I have come a long way and I want to thank you for that, of course most of it had to come from me being willing to change but you gave me a push to do it, all your motivational quotes and sayings have helped me to get to this place. You are such an inspiration and I love how real you are, I watch your vlogs and I can see how genuine you are, you don't lie to us like quite a lot of youtubers would do now a days, you keep real! Wow, I'm really glad I stumbled upon this video. My best friend, soul sister/better half committed suicide. It's been almost 7 months & everyone says God does things for a reason & to stay strong for her. She was just 20 years old & she had the world at her feet. She was basically the only friend I had left & her death hit me so hard. I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about suicide but then I see videos like this & it just gives me courage to see what's next. My friend didn't have the courage to stay & fight but I'd like to fight for both of us. So I just want to thank you for giving people courage to stay a little longer & find out what happens next in life. I've seen other videos that you've made & they really have helped a lot. So thank you so much for being this amazing!

Watching this again, two years after this was first posted, after my 18th birthday, after all the responsibilities, expectations, pressures and everything else has suddenly knocked on my doorstep. After finding out that I have a sickness that I will not get rid off and the mental side effects that comes from that, after finding out that I do suffer from an anxiety disorder and I have been since the age of five. I watch this, as I think of that, and you know what? I do believe you when you say that everything will get better. It might be hell now, but it will get better, because I believe it will.

Your videos showing you and your quirky, awesome personality puts a smile on my face, and I don't know if you'd believe (If you'd even read this comment, which I doubt but hey; it doesn't matter, I'll write it anyway) me when I say that I have learned so, so much from you. I have learned to be stubborn, even if that isn't always a good thing. I have learned to believe in myself, to love myself and I have learned that nothing is impossible as long as you want it.

Now this is someone girls should look up to. I am so glad I found your videos, we are the same age and I still feel I need to work on some things in my life. Today I was feeling overwhelmed with the changes in my life, I went back to school to become a vet tech, and it's scary. But you saying that everything is gonna be ok, really made me feel better. Hi Superwoman! I know you said you didn't want anything for your birthday, but I know you also said in your "Truth About YouTubers" video that you read your comments, *and* in your Draw My Life video you said that you wanted to make people smile with your videos. Also I'm pretty talentless so I can't draw you a picture or anything in celebration of your birthday, but I figure this is the next best thing.
So hi! I've been a silent viewer of yours for about the past year, maybe year and a half, and I just wanted to say that you and your videos came into my life at a time when my self-confidence was tanked, stress was at an all-time high, and I broke down almost everyday because of how out-of-control I felt with everything in my life. Your videos became an escape for me, the 5-10 minutes in my day when I could forget about everything that I felt like was going wrong and just laugh at the positive relatability of everything you said.
But eventually they became more than that. As I learned your story and how you became who you are today, I came to realize that things are only as hopeless as I let them become. Life is what I make of it, and no one is in control of that but me, myself, and I. I finally quit ballet last year, which I'd been doing it for most of my life, because I knew it had become a place of negativity and I just didn't feel comfortable in the environment of the dance studio anymore. I started focusing on things I really loved, like piano and acting, and started dabbling in new things, like art and learning languages. I really and truly appreciate my small group of friends who've stuck with me these past four years of high school, and make sure that I don't get so caught up in my own problems that I forget about them (and vice versa, of course).
I'm still working towards rebuilding my confidence and sense of self-worth, and I still occasionally get panic attacks in this time of countless college apps and IB assessments, but I've learned to talk myself down from them, and to really be proud of everything I've accomplished. I'm a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist, I'm passing my school's most advanced math class even though math is one of my weakest subjects, I'm one of the lead actresses in my school's drama club, I went to the state tournament for Forensics Public Speaking and Interpretation in my first year of being on the team, and I'm allowed to be proud of all of that. 
And I couldn't have grown like this over the past year if it wasn't for you.
So thank you, Lilly Singh, for being my superhero, and for being so many people's Superwoman. Mine is just one of countless stories that you've inspired, and I hope you have an amazing day surrounded by the people who love you and who you love back, because my goodness, do you more than deserve it! :)
