It genuinely makes me so sad when I think about all the things that could've been if Dan had've just reacted to this song, and how this saga never got a proper end. We had just hit the climax of the story with Dan having the most important choice yet, and everything could have been resolved if they finally did a song together to show that the villain arcs were in the past, but no. It'll be up in the air forever. The happy ending we always wanted, but will never get.
