Revised Note: Use of AirPrint drivers don't affect the WICReset's ability to reset the waste ink counter but the printer will not always be seen unless it is in Service Mode. So the lesson here was to make sure the printer is in Service Mode before you worry the printer isn't recognised.

Have there been recent updates to the WIC Reset script? I used it a while ago using my MacBook Pro to reset my PIXMA 5060 and it reset the counter however, left the printer unusable. I am hoping one day there will be an updated version that I can try in hopes of resetting the eprom where the printer will function again.
