Kashmir - Led Zeppelin (Seattle 1977) [REMASTERED 60FPS]

From the concert of July 17th, 1977.
Aside from the audio remaster, this is my first venture into video remastering. I did a bit of color-correcting and used Adobe Premiere's optical flow to boost the framerate to 120 frames per second, although it is limited to 60 here.
Although this was neat, the video work was very very tedious to do. I don't think I'll do the full concert, but I wanna try to do an Earls Court video like this.

If anyone wants to know why the video process was extremely tedious, I'll tell ya.
In video editing, what _optical flow_ actually does is analyse the video frame-by-frame, and morph all movement together to make it extremely smooth and natural-looking. However, every time there's an extreme amount of movement, it makes the video look kinda wacky. An example of this is at 3:45, when Robert's hand swings behind the microphone. The mic itself gets a bit distorted.
Because optical flow does this, every time the video cuts to a different camera, it would try to morph the objects together in each frame (like morphing Plant into Bonzo's drum kit, when the camera switched between them). This was very distracting to look at, so what I did was go to each individual cut in the video, and tweak the effect so this didn't happen. There are probably a couple hundred different cuts in the video, so this took a long time.

I was there.
They played for 3.5 hours, with no backup band.
On the last encore we left so we could catch a cab before the rush.
We headed down a road then we heard sirens.
Suddenly there was a police motorcycle escort leading 5 black Cadillac limos coming at us.
As they went by, we saw Jimmy Page, his head was resting against the heavily tinted window.
The man had played his guts out and he was totally exhausted..

9:43 Jimmy and Plant both shaking their booty to Bonham's fill. I love that they both turn around to look at him. They both knew they had the best drummer in rock and were so proud of it.

I was at this concert, I remember that exact moment when Jimmy exploded out of White Mountain Slide into Kashmir. It was definitely one of the highlights for me.

I envy everyone who got to see Led Zeppelin in concert, including my own father :D Must've been amazing to grow up during the 60s and 70s, when the world was being taken over by many legendary rock bands.

06:02 love that little command Jonsey gives to either Robert and Jimmy or the crowd! Although he operated in the shadows on this performance, there’s no denying that Jonsey always served as the secret weapon in Zeppelin’s arsenal. The glue that held it all together. 🙏

This is great this one and the recorded live at Knebworth in 79 Bonham just goes nuts on this song, he was on it that day.
