I attended WGU for my masters program after undergrad and the education was actually REALLY high quality, challenging and comprehensive. I would love if they created a doctorate program.

my only gripe is that their certs for this degree are too broad. WGU has been updating their degrees lately to reflect the job roles better...I hope they replace the A+ and Network+ with Microsoft Power Bi Data Analyst and Azure Data Fundamentals or Data Engineer certs. Even the CompTIA Data + would be better for the Data degree in this case

Based on this advice I went ahead and started the process for this degree at WGU. I think people will benefit from knowing that WGU has changed this degree program from the (amazing) cheat sheet Shane has shared. I wonder if maybe WGU has “caught on” to the hack and is trying to curb the ability to test so much in? So that’s given me pause. I was able to transfer in maybe 25% of the basics (I already have a bachelors in political science and a masters degree in an irrelevant field) but I’m stuck on glue for fear there aren’t actually any jobs in this and this will be (more) wasted time and student loan debt. It would be great if someone could provide some security that there are jobs out there in this field for entry level folks. I made the mistake of “following my heart” and doing liberal arts shit only to realize after a divorce that I can’t support myself or my kids on butterflies and public service. I don’t have the time or finances to make a new mistake on this…

The only thing sucks about WGU is they don't allow you work on 2 degrees at 1 time. I am doing my bachelor in finance and will do my masters in data analytics
