This is the tire the S18 SHOULD HAVE came installed with. It did take a while to get used to as this has different riding characteristics than the stock tire.

Yes knobby tire is just perfect on the S18, I installed (using the stock tube for the Eakia tire) the CST C-186 which is a TR-1 clone widely available in Europe (40€ shipped.) Do you notice increased power consumption with the knobby tire? I do...not sure if it's the extra weight or some rubber spikes still rubbing, and of course, just riding faster and better! Worth noting that those bigger tires will raise the height (maybe 1.5cm) so you might want to adjust pedal height (I prefer medium height anyway.)
