What is a Mini LED TV? Unlike the name would suggest, it is not a small TV 🤣

Mini LEDs are tiny LED diodes, that are used together to backlight a TV panel. These LEDs are usually 0.2mm in diameter!

Local dimming is a technology that divides a TV's LED backlights into “zones,” each of which can be dimmed individually or locally. The more dimming zones a TV has, the more richness and contrast in colour there will be.

With great innovation over the past few years from TCL you can now purchase TV's with even more local dimming zones! This means that the blacks will be more black and there will be less light blur created by bright and colourful scenes.

Overall the greatest benefit to a Mini LED TV is due to the size of the LED backlights being so much smaller that they can be precise and, therefore, ensure that pictures are bolder in colour, deeper in black levels, and brighter for HDR.
