In this video, I will be reviewing FirstMate dog food. I will discuss the pros and cons of this brand. I will also compare FirstMate to other popular dog foods on the market using the PSS (pet food scoring system)

FirstMate claims to be a premium dog food brand that is made with high-quality ingredients. The company uses a unique vacuum infusion process to deliver healthy fats and oils throughout the kibble. FirstMate dog food is available in a variety of formulas, including grain-free, grain-friendly, and limited ingredient diets. The company also offers a variety of wet food options.

Hello! I actually work at the plant where these bags are made. I find these reveiws so fascinating, i have nothing to do with the making of the kibble, I just seal and package the stuff for shipping. Gotta wonder if our quality control manager watches these reveiws...🤔

As for quality control on my end i inspect the kibble before it goes into my despenser machine. Do my best to make sure no mold or bugs have contaminated it. The kibble is ran through more detail tests in our lab before it gets to me. But i have no idea how that works.

Anyways really interesting reveiw, sad we didn’t do better.

Hi! In another video I heard you say that the absolute, absolute maximum calcium for an adult dog is 2.5 % so in this case, can we say that they are only a little bit in excess? Is it enough in excess that it is concerning? I have gone through so many kibbles and raw food for my girl with a sensitive tummy. When you may need a diet to be chicken free or beef free it can be so difficult to find a suitable kibble that is also legume free or that fits into these parameters.

Great video, I had my dog on this for a while but stopped as he was allergic to the chicken fat, in spite of being told the protein was removed so it should be okay. Nope, it wasn’t.

Could you please review Nature's Recipe Whole Grain, Chicken and Rice Recipe dog food (kibble)? It's very well-rated from pet owners from what I can see online and it's made in the USA, but I don't see many reviews of this brand? Also, is it okay to mix wet dog food with dry kibble for dogs who need/want that little something extra to make the kibble more enticing? Do you ever review wet dog food? I’m in Canada and looking for a good Canadian made dog food. I used to feed science diet but with tariffs the price has gone up too much. Any suggestions?

I was told by the company that the protein is removed from the chicken fat because it is the protein that the dog is allergic to. This is the only food that my toy breed pup does not have diarrhea with. He got diarrhea with Royal Canin and Purina One and would never eat those as a treat kibblle whereas he will eat the Lamb and Pumpkin and New Zealand beef as a treat kibble.
