Quickest Mk1 Escort In The World (4cyl) - 7.47 @ 183mph

The Maltese crew of the HexaTech Mk1 Escort were at the Doorslammers event at Santa Pod Raceway competing in the 4cyl class. They put in some storming mid 7 second runs and a new PB of 7.473 @ 183.82mph on there way to the finals, where a mechanical issue prevented them from winning. As far as we know, this is now the Quickest and Fastest 4cyl Mk1 Escort in the World. There is a quicker rotary powered one from Malta, but no quicker/faster 4cyl one.

Hardly call that a mk1 escort can you. Its a drag car. Resembles a mk1 but its not is it.
