Thanks for the video, it was great to be able to follow the team's progression over the event; at least their positives. The first run captured you could see that as the launch control was disengaged way too much engine output was being commanded. They brought that back some for the next run, and as we all could see the passes were very consistent. However, they're missing a lot in the short track, they're giving up a lot in the 60 foot and in the 330 foot. From the 660 you could see they were throwing all of what the track would take. If the team could meter the engine output better (on that knife edge between tire shake and ideal forward motion) from the launch to the 660 then the 6 second pass is right there. When the power unit has as low cylinder count coupled with a relatively small displacement, it's not so easy to be able to hit specific cylinder pressures consistently across all cylinders on command and meter an increase that's very finite in a consistent manner.
