Simple AM Radio using S9018 NPN transistors. It really worked well!!

I've made several of AM Radios with transistors and nearly all were working well except for the tuning where it has proved to be pretty hard because I didn't have experience in making RF oscillators.
Although I noticed that connecting an inductor to the input coupling capacitor would result to the whole set up oscillating and I couldn't not know the actual frequency since I don't have signal testing equipment.
Tuning by the variable inductor proved to be useless. Only the strongest signal could be heard clearly.
I'm looking for anyone who could have some clue about making an oscillator, please
