The Mummy or Mommy Wars about childbirth and parenting has invaded our society and it's sad really.

Often we hear that 'men' are the abusive ones yet in the Mummy/Mommy Wars it is women doing their 'mean' thing to one another.

In the 1970s there was a wonderful Canadian Mothering magazine that gave heaps of space for women to discuss issues. The BIGGEST issue was whether you should get up at night and nurse. You would think that this would be a personal issue but no ... it was a 'I'm right and you're wrong' conversation.

Birthing Better families developed all the Birthing Better skills based on what we all share ... our human body. Those skills then are taken into our own unique and personal lives. Whew! Thank goodness!

So, if you 'know best' then go, girl, go. If you're not certain that's just fine. Our encouragement is to become skilled to birth your baby.
