As someone who's lived in Colorado for all their life, I don't think it'd be that easy to take over Colorado, we've got many Air Force (And now Space Force) bases along with the Cheyenne Mountain Complex and Air Force Academy, all of which are extremely valuable. Along with that the mountains are quite the challenge to traverse, especially during the winter. I'd say the winter would have no chance due to our weird af weather, yet summer it would still be a challenge. Large open plains, lotsa planes... though it'd be very possible for southern Colorado to join up.

THANK YOU for this video I’ve been waiting for something like this for so long with out any bias or bashing on the CSA the entire video or talking about how they would just get immediately crushed. I know slavery and all that was a horrible practice but people can not stand just not talking about it for ONE SECOND when talking about the CSA I personally live in the south and the country means a lot to me and when people In other videos unnecessarily bash on my homeland you can see why It gets to me so much. And yes I get why it is easy to bash on the csa because of what it did/stood for but it’s us usually all the videos focus on and not even the I guess “alternate history” aspect of the video. This video however just focused on the actual war. And yes I know they probably might not win even now but the video is still good because it it’s the just oversaturated hating on the south and the country itself for what they did and or stood for. That "straight line" was because the United States said you could not have any more territories north of Missouri. For a short time, Missouri was part of the CSA, so the modern nation said we control everything north of Missouri, so Missouri went, and said, "ok, I'll follow the rules of being north of my southern border. Can I join back?".
