I LOVE this show. I live in the U.S & saw Ruth Jones on Graham Norton talking about the 10 yr anniversary Christmas Special of Gavin & Stacey. I had never heard of it before, being over here in the US, but it looked really funny. I checked my Amazon Prime BritBox Channel & it was on there! I started with season 1, and fell in love very quickly with the show. I’ve finished with all seasons & started it again for the 2nd time. I’ve told many of my friends & family & now they’re watching it & love it too!! James Corden & Ruth Jones along with the rest of the cast, are so funny & entertaining. I know it probably won’t happen but I would love more episodes.

The story was poor. No jokes. Just 60 mins of people going to a pub (and insulting the gay community), then going back for the christmas dinner. This was over hyped. So saying it got 11 million viewers after all the hype and the fact nothing else was on, is not something to declare was a good thing.


It felt more like what we have got used to, the BBC handing out lots of cash to certain people.


If your part of the BBC group, then your well in.


If people want to pay a licence fee to in order to provide a select few a great life, that is up to them.


And clearly those under aged 20 seem to like the show, as I guess they have been fed trash for the last 20 years.
