How to tie the Halyard Hitch (Both Versions)

In this video, we show you how to tie the Halyard Hitch Knot, other called the Halyard Shackle Knot or Sunfish Halyard Knot. It’s usually used to create a permanent attachment point to a halyard, a carabiner, a ring, a post, or something similar. It’s actually tied in two versions - where the tag end sits next to the Halyard and where it exits in the other direction. In this video, we show you how to tie both versions.
