gotta be honest I always tell people buy nexus devices but the droid turbo 1 was the best phone I ever had lol it was stock Google after I disabled Verizon apps and was built so good it was the perfect daily driver.

1:30 haha you say all this headphone jack stuff as if wired headphones aren't being aggressively phased out as we speak! very very good review and video overall just thought this was funny. Save headphone jacks for casual users, flagships need the additional internal real estate for more up-to-date components and technologies, especially in a phone which is so incredibly slim (and do remember it's so slim because it's expected that everyone will have a "Mod" installed at any given time, so making note of how almost-undesirably slim it could be for some users was kind of uncalled for, since the only people probably to ever experience it at its most-slim would be those who specifically desire to have it at the cost of not having more battery power or some other Mod-provided benefit.)

I have the unlocked version and it doesn't have the Verizon junk, but the unlocked Moto z is also more expensive that's a regular Moto z

so 99% of the time, you'll just have the extended battery attached. how often do you need the speaker or projector mod? we also have by speakers already...

The best thing about these moto phones is the turbo boost charging...

Personally, I prefer a phone that has a headphone jack because I have brought so many Bluetooth headsets and many don't fit right or don't sound clear for phone calls. BT headsets aren't cheap either and you can't return them. But this isn't a deal breaker for me as long as manufacturers include the adaptor like Lenovo did. And if we lose it, make them affordable to purchase another one. I rather buy OEM products.

Now the biggest mistake Lenovo did was giving Verizon the exclusive rights for the Moto Z Force. The Z Force would sell more than the Moto Z because of the larger battery & shatter proof glass. Not everyone can afford the Moto mods, not to mention the added weight.

I haven't used a headphone jack in about 2 years lol. Got tired of breaking headphones because of the cumbersome wire. Tried Bluetooth, and never looked back.
