Why Is Carlos Sainz So Good?

Carlos Sainz, an absolute Geezer. In 2021 Carlos Sainz joined Ferrari and instantly impressed the team, and F1 fans. Carlos is a very adaptable driver and though many thought he was simply a "seat warmer" signing that would eventually make way for Mick Schumacher, i think it will take something huge to justify kicking Carlos out. I have full confidence in his ability and his talent could definitely stack up against Charles Leclerc. Let's see what happens, because i think Carlos Sainz will win a race pretty soon..
Enjoy!

Ah yes, Carlos "smooth operator" Sainz. The most underrated not underatted driver on the grid.

The Sainz-Leclerc lineup has been the most underrated this year tbh. The mutual respect is what does it for me.

I like how Carlos Sainz Jr is so focused on the technical aspects of racing and respects data a lot. He is one of the most copy book style driver that relies on taking smooth driving lines compared to Leclerc who himself in the previous G.P. acclaimed called himself as a belligerent driver who likes to aggressively drive the car around the corners. His driving style reminds me of Jenson Button.

Carlos is exceptionally good in creating fierce competition with his teammate while mantaining great off-track relationships and race day ethics...

If Carlos wins Ferrari a Constuctor's and himself a Driver's title in the next couple years, I wouldn't be surprised. Equally so with Charles.

He is not only a great driver but has an amazing personality as well! Such a humble guy

Carlos has so many of his Dad's good traits and it's brilliant to see them in action here. He's only going to get better that's for sure.

Carlos' adapting skills are taught from his father rallying skills, adaptable in whatever conditions.

Carlos is the one that brings the good vibes to the teams as well as great performance

I really like Carlos and am really pleased to see him doing well at Ferrari. Considering how he had been moved around the grid but then settled at McLaren, I was also worried he'd be used as a stop gap driver at Ferrari.

One things he's got in common with Mick of course which may help or hinder him - he's carrying the name of his multiple world championship winning father. I can imagine Carlos senior being a very strong mentor figure, even though he was from a different discipline.

Man Sainz is a great driver but it looks like he is an even better dude off track. Every team he goes to it seems like he instantly gels with the team. Just look at him and Landos chemistry last year and his and Leclercs chemistry. Sainz is slowly becoming one of my favs in the grid. Would love to see him sneak into top 5 in drivers standings

Watching this after Russian GP, I couldn't agree more.
I was so impressed how he was the first one to make his own call for the Inters after the rain came. It was a big decision at a critical moment. And he nailed it.

Ferrari are lucky to have Carlos and Charles as their drivers. With more competitive cars next years, i know they could make Ferrari rise again

Sainz is so good at adapting to the car. He did it at TR, he did it at Renault, he did it at mclaren and now at Ferrari

I think you can see that the whole Ferrari team gained alot of confidence and positive vibes from Carlos entering the team. No disrespect to Vettel but change was needed and Carlos was the perfect guy to come in, younger, had a good relationship with Charles even before coming to Ferrari and now they seem to be even closer friends. At this point in time that's what Ferrari needs. I'm excited to see what Charles and Carlos can do together to bring Ferrari back to front row lockouts and winning multiple championships again.

reminds me of Alonso in the way he prepares his overtakes, paying lots of attention to have the best posible corner exit on the previous corner

i feel like carlos’ strength just comes from being super adaptable and consistent (aside from the crashes these last couple weeks). would’ve loved to have seen him at red bull him and max could’ve been a strong pairing

He's shown some promising Sainz, I'll admit that much.

Before he joined Ferrari he got a bit of an unfair judgement put on him for getting beaten by Hulk in 2018. Alot of people doubted his ability even though he wasn't miles off Hulk. Then his Mclaren stint should've silenced those critics but they would always bring up 2018.

It's great to see him in the Ferrari getting up to speed so easily. I think in reality it was clear to see he would perform given previous performances at his previous teams. I find it a bit wierd some people have been surprised that he is doing so well when he's shown how good he is the past few years.

Ferrari should definitely be looking to keep him for the long term. They have imo the best driver lineup on the grid currently.

I thought Sainz was gonna be victim to team politics since his teammate is their golden boy. But he’s done an amazing job and he’s got my attention. Why? Because he is the most underrated driver on the grid.
