It is one of those things where you have to hit record before you start everything. Think of it like the old VHS days, you had to hit record before the TV show, not like the DVR stuff we have today!

I am very glad you found this useful!

I cannot say I remember this one, but looking back is funny. What do they say, "baby you've come a long way".

Fun, fair to say your production skills and standards are considerably elevated since 2011 :-)

@dude342501 You have to create a new "Set" of actions, so another folder opens up in your actions bar, you can then click on the drop down menu in the actions palette and select "save actions". Any action placed in that folder will be saved.

@we3aries You can open the history tab and revert back to the previous state before you ran the action. Or when you make the action you can have to action run in it's own folder in the layers palette allowing you to simply delete the folder. I show this in my Advanced Tutorial that is available when you purchase my actions package from EverydayHDR.

Love the video tutorials! I like them much better than the written ones.

0:30 "Lets try this video tutorial thing out, see what you guys think" - 12 years later we see you're still going strong. If I could ever question anything I would ask throughout your videos are you processing for web or for print. Sometimes I'm watching a tutorial and I'm thinking 'hang on, isn't that destructive, isn't that breaking down levels'. I guess for 99.99% of people who only take pictures to put on Instagram that doesn't matter, but personally I only aim for capturing an image I can print. I just wish there was some clarity so I would know what might damage my files. I suspect I should do as much as possible in RAW and as little as possible in Photoshop, but I'm not sure how far I can push things in Photoshop and/or wether I need to be too concerned.

I enjoyed Flashback Friday and the action tutorial. Must seem weird now that you have the f64 system and buttons. I imagine your new baby is five now. Thanks, and have a great day, Rick.

oh my goodness this makes sense. thank you. this will make things so much easier.
if you've already done everything before you hit 'record', is there any way to record it after the fact or is it better to just do it all again?

Hi. How do I undo it all? I have a mac. Do I need to keep hitting command+z? or is there an easier way? Thanks
