• Homework Answer:-
1) Number of multiples of 4 that lies between 50 and 300 is 62
2) The equations would be= a+5d=10 and a+7d=22
By solving the equations, we get the value of a = -13 and d=5
Therefore, The first three terms of the AP are = -13, -8 and -3

Sum of 4th term and 8th term is 24
So, a+3d+a+7d=24
2a+10d=24
2(a+5d) =24
a+5d=12 ----1
Now, the sum of 6th term and 10th term is 44
So, a+5d+a+9d=44
2a+14d=44
2(a+7d) =44
a+7d=22
Now, elimination method,
a+5d=12
a+7d=22

-2d=-10
d=5
a+5d=12
a=-13
a1=-13+5=-8
a2=-13+10=-3
a3=-13+15=2

an = a + (n-1)d
300=52 + (n-1)4 where, n=63
Ans = *62* [Excluding the nth term A.T.Q]
*Q2:* A.T.Q
=> a4 + a8 = 24 || a6 + a10 = 44
=> 2a + 10d = 24 || 2a + 14d = 44
By Elimination Method
-> 4d = 20
-> d = 5 and a = -13
Sequence is *-13, -8, -3*
