Hello Sir, I don't really comment on videos, but yes i really really appreciate that there are still some good people who are providing very important information, because in our country if a middle class or lower class will break that is only because of the debt of medical bills, middle class person do their hard work their whole life save some money but when it comes to hospitals it all just fades away like air. You missed an important point in Room Rent Cap @8:30 - Insurance companies link all expenses with room rent, so if company is paying 50% of the room rent (because of limits) then company will only pay 50% of the total bill amount (Including procedure costs, doctor costs, meds etc irrespective of any limit).
So, if one takes 10k room where 5k is limit, and total bill comes to 5 lakhs, most of us will have no issue paying those extra 5k for 3-4 days (~20k) from own pocket, but insurance company will now approve only 2.5 lakhs as all reimbursements are linked to room rent percentage and we have to shell 2.5 lakhs instead of 20k just because we surpassed the room rent criteria. That's why no room rent capping is necessary.
