NHS Health Checks PHAR10400 University of Manchester

As a part of the NHS community pharmacists can provide free NHS health checks in your local pharmacy, in place of your doctor. Saving both the doctor's and your time as now you do not need to book an appointment with your GP, the pharmacists can give you advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and if you were found to be at high risk, they will refer you to your doctor, who can prescribe you medication.
