One little thing to note. She can actually overcome those mental blocks during times of extreme stress, and she’s also immortal, as anytime she dies her whole body repairs itself to a younger state. In the comics she died of old age and then reformed as a 20 year old

I believe she eventually breaks those mental blocks permanently. As a child, she overcame one of them at least temporarily when she messed with the mind of the government goon that was harassing her.
Without those blocks, she's capable of hurting a Viltrumite. But she's not fast enough and her shields are not durable enough to keep up with a full on blitz, so she'd be a glass cannon. She'd only survive repeat encounters as long as they continue to underestimate her.
