hi mimi, did you buy the shop as well, lol.  You are just like me.  I have two boxes full of fabrics, some of which I cant make anything with as there is not enough,    that textured white would be gorgeous as a coco chanel jacket with black braiding on all edging. I have one pattern similar to that from Craftsy.com - the iconic tweed jacket course with pattern. I am a big girl so I have to alter the pattern too.

How many yards of fabric do you buy when you are not sure what you are making?

Please share how you treat and finish the various fabric types before (washing, ect.) and while (fraying or curling edges)you sew. New to sewing and currently stalled with first pencil skirt project, because of out of control fraying, post washing. Not to mention lining up a plaid fabric pattern! Thanks! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS MIMI!!
